About

Rebecca Kase

Rebecca Kase, LCSW is a thought leader exploring how neurobiology shapes the way humans live, lead, and care for one another.

Trained as a trauma therapist, EMDR expert, and professional educator, Rebecca has spent two decades working at the intersection of neuroscience, trauma science, and human systems. Her work examines how the nervous system influences everything from individual healing to leadership, organizational culture, and the systems professionals build to support others.

Rebecca is the founder and CEO of The Trauma Therapist Institute, where she develops advanced training programs for clinicians seeking deeper understanding of trauma and neurobiology. Through this work she has trained thousands of therapists worldwide and contributed to the growing integration of neuroscience within trauma treatment.

Her writing and speaking increasingly explore a broader question: how an understanding of the nervous system can transform not only therapy, but also leadership, learning, and the systems of care humans create. Rebecca is also an advocate for responsible stewardship of the trauma field, encouraging greater scientific rigor and ethical responsibility as trauma-informed practices expand across industries.

Through her speaking, writing, and teaching, Rebecca invites audiences to consider a simple but profound idea: when we understand the nervous system, we gain new insight into how humans heal, lead, and build the systems that shape our world.
